What's the last or current Movie you Watched ?

WOOOOW .... a creepy psychological mindfuck of a movie!!!! One of those where you aren't really sure what is going on. I am going to wait awhile and watch this again to see if I can make more sense of it. Odd that Jake Gyllenhaal should star in this as well as the similar cult/confusing movies i.e Donnie Darko & Source Code (both excellent btw if you haven't seen them) both of which benefit from a careful 2nd and 3rd watch... and as for the last 2 seconds of the movie - well that's a fucking huge WTF!!!!!!!

WTF! Batman using guns? In the comics no member of the "Bat Family" except Alfred is allowed to ever use a gun. In "the "Batman Beyond" series, an aged Batman retires after he must resort to using a gun during a fight.

But in this movie you see him using pistols, assault rifles, and even a machine gun. The Batmobile and Batwing also are armed with machine guns.

In the comics, Batman is brutal, but never kills. In this, he leaves scores of corpses in his wake...

I hate Ben Affleck. I was disgusted when he was announced to play Batman. I read something that said as part of his contract Affleck insisted on playing Batman for 2 more and he will be directing them. He is the new franchise lynch pin.

I'm appalled by the decision to arm Batman to the teeth with lethal weapons and to use them without restraint.

It's always a dark day in Gotham and it just got a lot darker.

Very interesting but disturbing movie. Jake Gyllenhaal is excellent as a weird, nerdy, obsessive, ambitious loner... a dark plot line about getting exploitative video footage for the US cable news channels. Different but original in many ways
