OK, I feel the need to explain this movie...
It's a crowd source funded movie made by vets, about vets (and zombies), starring vets, and for vets.
You have to be a military vet to fully appreciate it.
Basically, they want to show what vets are really like...
Which pretty much means crude, demented juveniles...
Here's the promotional video made to help with a crowd sourcing campaign to fiance the movie...

Oh yea I think FREE STATE OF JONES would be for me so very interesting. I'm curious if this movie will come to Germany as well. I hope so and I will look for it. Thanks for bring it up!

Not being a Batman comic fan, I did not plan to see Suicide Squad. But a friend suggested I would enjoy it BECAUSE I didn't know any of the comic plots, which the movie (somehow) didn't get right (or some such thing). And as a non-comic fan, it was damn good! Relatively complex plot, good action and character interaction. See it if you have not.

This has all the essential hallmarks of a Tarantino movie: the atmospheric juxtaposed soundtrack, great cinematography - excellent cutting/editing and a superb cast nearly all on top form. I wonder whether DiCaprio wasn't miss-cast as the evil white southern plantation owner... his portrayal doesn't cut it for me really

Many, many critics and fans would disagree... In fact many critics cried foul when Leo was passed over for the best supporting actor Oscar nomination, which instead went to Christoph Waltz for the film. The truth was that the character was such a vile, disgusting example of humanity who Leo played so well, that the nomination committee actually hated Calvin Candy on a personal level.
He was so good, they ended up hating him for it.
"DiCaprio and Quentin Tarantino had been looking to work together for some time, and while it almost happened on Inglourious Basterds, Tarantino had a character even more despicable up his sleeve for the performer. DiCaprio’s turn as plantation owner Calvin J. Candie is absolutely revolting, and I mean that as a compliment. This is the one character even Tarantino himself admits that he downright disliked, and DiCaprio brings Candie to life with a mix of delight, aggression, and Southern Charm. It’s quite possibly DiCaprio’s most terrifying performance, as Candie turns from comedic to barbaric on a dime with DiCaprio selling the switch perfectly. You believe this man is capable of both unadulterated glee and despicable horrors, and yet you can’t stop watching him. It’s utterly captivating, and yet oh so frustrating given the fact that DiCaprio wasn’t even nominated."
