KONGENS NEI - THE KING'S CHOICE a very, very interesting film about the actions of King Haakon VII of Norway after the German invasion in April 1940. And because I'm very interested in the history of WW II, this was for me a real masterpiece. Perhaps you'll have the same hobby - if so, please watch this Norwegian film. It is really worth every minute.

GODS AND MONSTERS a film from 1998 with Ian McKellen and Brendan Fraser. The film tells the last days in the life of James Whale, the director of the Frankenstein-movies. It is the story of a peculiar and nevertheless moving and tender friendship.

Denzel Washington, in one of his best gritty powerful performances teams up with director Robert Zemeckis to create a riveting watch... my only criticism being that it should have ended about 2mins earlier as IMHO the final scene should have ended up on the cutting room floor

HANDSOME DEVIL - what to say about this film? Only one word WOW!!!!. A wonderful film about a difficult friendship between a "nerd" and a blessed Rugby player in an Irish boarding school. I've got this film from the "Gay Themed Movie" thread. Very recommended and I think a MUST SEE!
