Having spent a chilly morning and early afternoon battling with the untidy garden I wanted to curl up somewhere warm for the rest of the afternoon and then I spotted this on one of the TV streaming channels, perfect - just under 3 hours of sumptuous cinematography

Avengers: Infinity War

It's basically the MCU version of one of the Marvel Comics big crossover events, almost every character from the MCU is in it.
It's entertaining, it's good (Tom Holland keeps impressing me with is acting skills), I can't wait for the next Avengers movie, but it's not at the excellent level of Black Panther.

Pokemon 20'th Anniversary movie : Kimi ni kimeta!
An upgrade movie about Ash first adventure. Why upgrade? Because his fellow Pokemon trainer is different, a slight different from the original story but still has some memorable scene from the original, much variety of Pokemon appears. And as usual, it successfully turned me into mush. I'm in a box of feelings watching this.

"The Endless". A low-budget sci-fi mystery. Weird and good.

THE 15:17 TO PARIS

Not director Clint Eastwood's best work, but then again this film is also a bit of an experiment. Instead of actors, the main leads are played by the actual heroes who stopped the attack. In fact Chris Norman, a British businessman who helped restrain the terrorist and Mark Moogalian, a French-American College professor who was shot in the attack, play themselves. Even Moogalian's wife along with several members of the French police, rescue and American military personnel play themselves in the movie...

Trivia...

The black Camaro the three heroes are driving at the beginning of the movie was gifted to Spencer Stone by Jimmy Kimmel...

And while not mentioned in the film, Mark Moogalian also received the Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur. He was still in the hospital recovering from his injuries when then others received their medals. I know the focus of the movie is on the 3 young Americans, but I find it insulting that they failed to mention Mr. Moogalian's honors. That, and the fact he's so far down in the credits...

BLACK PANTHER I'm not so the fan of Marvel - but honestly this Marvel was really MARVELLOUS. Great entertainment and very recommendable.
