Love, Simon.

I had very high expectations from this movie. As the end credits rolled, I somehow felt a bit disappointed. It wasn't that i didn't like it, infact I loved it....it was quite enjoyable! But I felt there was something missing, something more that could have been done with the movie! Imho, it was just too perfect, too rosy, a bit stereotypical, and too predictable...especially about the 'Blue' character. I already guessed who it was by mid-movie, so I wasn't surprised at all when that character was finally revealed. All in all, it was great for a one-time viewing. Nick Robinson though, is cute af. :blushing:

Solo: Which is how many times I plan to watch it. It was rather bland and didn't have the emotional punch of Rogue One.

VENGEANCE: A LOVE STORY - a very good revenge thriller starring Nicolas Cage. In the fairway of DEATH WISH. We liked it really very much.

Insidious: The Last Key

It was a pretty good movie. I'll give it 3 1/2 out of four. I just didn't get the whole "key" thing and the red doors. I hate it when they make horror movies complicated to understand.

Deepwater Horizon

I was 15 when this happened and can remember watching the news every day to see if the oil had stopped. It's a shame to me that nobody was held accountable for the deaths of the 11 members of DH that died. I remember too the dumb comment from Tony Hayward about wanting his life back too. Some things you just can't forget hearing.

What I think is the most horrendous about something like this is that it was all done for the love of money. Think about how much money BP probably would have made had they spent the money for the tests and had a successful rig. Instead, they polluted the ocean, the Gulf, and the shoreline for decades to come.

I'm all for making money, but when you cut corners and put peoples lives at risk, either physically or financially (like the 2008 economic collapse) someone needs to be held accountable. BP should be paying for cleanup, and to the families of those killed and injured until there is not one drop left in the water or on the beach. The financial companies should have been allowed to collapse.
