After I've read here so much again about BEAUTIFUL THING, I searched in my movie collection and together with my BF we watched this evening again this wonderful film. I don't know when we have watched it for the last time - some years ago. And it was for us like the first time. One of the best films ever! Oh I was so in love with Jamie - really. And again I got tears in my eyes - and the very best, when Jamie and Ste danced at the end, my BF take me in his arms and kissed me so wonderful. - So thank you that you have remembered me to this movie!

Speaking of revisiting old favourites, I went back to;
Breaking Away 1979/80
A coming of age movie about a boy and his devotion to cycling, with the most glorious possible soundtrack of music by Rossini.
There is nothing of deep meaning here, it's just plain simple feel good wonderful and I love it, love it, love it.

At first: LIKE CATTLE TOWARDS GLOW Hmmm - what shall I say? It wasn't a real porn movie, it wasn't real gay movie - so what was it? If the persons in these 5 different episodes would be real persons it is my honest opinion you must call at once the next mental hospital. No normal person would react like these wiggy persons.
I don't know what this movie wanted to say - it was only crap!
The only thing I found really good was the beautiful hairy cock of the guy in the first scene. And second: La Ville dont le Prince est un Enfant - The Fire That Burns it is a French film from 1997 and really a very, very dramatic film.
Two boys in their early teens in a strictly-run pre-WWII Catholic School form a firm friendship which is troubled by an abbot who is obsessed with the younger of the students.
A very harrowing movie about love and prevalence and jealousy!
