Supposedly loosely based on a true story, with a good cast and some good special effects and cinematography. The problem with it for me was the "look" of the studio settings. You know how when you see some "behind the scenes" footage of movies and you can tell that the castle walls or egyptian temple is made from polystyrene blocks and yet somehow in the actual film the movie-magic takes over and it all looks for real?.... well in 47 Ronin that didn't happen

That is a good movie. We watched it twice.

It's not the best movie ever made but the lead actor is kinda hot (not as hot as Patrick Wilson from 'The Conjuring of course, lol) and there are a few really good 'scare the shit out of you' moments. There's a scene that made me laugh out loud when he kills and eats a rat and if you notice his face he looks like he is having trouble not laughing. I imagine it took more than a few takes for that one.

It has a sequel but we haven't watched it yet. I think I'll try to find it then watch it this Halloween.

How To Train Your Dragon 1+2
Seeing how their graphic is massively improves was amazing. The
rendering of each elements done beautifully, almost like seeing a
live action than 3D. Best 3D animated movie of the year imo.

Read the book? The Demonologist : The Extraordinary Career of Ed and Lorraine Warren by Gerald Brittle. It might give you some clues about the story of the sequel.
I will try to find if that movie available in my country. FYI I don't have Netflix or so.
