I just watched 'The Fantastic Four' and really didn't think it was as bad as everyone thought it was. I thought it was very dark and gritty which seems is sometimes fun for a comic book movie where most of them usually feel campy and popcorny. Yet critics are critics for a reason like I am not one and don't get paid to be a critic.

Tonight I am watching Ted 2 so I will see how that is. A movie a night is very relaxing.

TRACERS starring Taylor Lautner (grrrrrr what a guy!). Don't ask in this film for logic - but nevertheless it was very entertaining. I liked this film.

Earth Star Voyager

OK, so while my computer has been trying to fix itself I was using Nick's computer to stream a couple of shows. First one I watched was this:



Personally I don't think that Faster Than Light travel is possible. I do, however, believe that we cannot be the only planet that has life on it in the Universe. But because FTL travel is not possible, them visiting us, or us visiting them is never going to happen.

And then this one showed up on the recommended list:



OMG talk about a super cheezy sci-fi movie from the 80's. It was even Disney!! So it's set in 2088 and the atmosphere has gotten so bad on Earth that when it rains people have to wear "breathers". They have discovered a planed called Diemeter and built a ship to go check the planet out. It will be a 26 year mission, so to make sure the crew are still alive when they get back they are all teen-agers with a few early 20s thrown in. They run afoul with an evil Admiral who doesn't want the ship to come back, but to go on and establish a new human colony and has constructed a larger ship (for some reason) to take them there.

It's a three hour movie that was originally done as a "to be continued" that is right at the half way point. This movie was so bad but it was funny to watch. Huxley and Beanie were pretty cute characters though. So I'm only recommending this one to the guys that like super bad, super cheezy 80's movies. The technology they use on board that thing is NOTHING like the Enterprise, that is for sure!

I watch most movies at home these days. The last one I saw at the cinema was Mad Max: Fury Road (3D). Really enjoyed it.
