We watched this again the other night. It'd been like 20 years since we last saw it. I'd forgotten how much I love Sam Rockwell and his exhibitionism, lol. He was totally nude a whole lot in this movie. Lots of screen time for 'Little Sam'.

4 out of 5 stars for this Indie Classic!

STONEWALL for me a really GREAT film. You will find this film in the movie-section here.

I don't understand that on IMdB this film got only 3.3 and really bad reviews, as well as in our newspapers here. I think it is a very good film. I know the story of the "Stonewall Riots" only from the very good doentaries and I must say that this film now round down these story. I say: very recommended.

Would be interested what others think about this film.

There was a time when the IMDB movie ratings were, well, maybe not reliable, but at least useful. During the last few years, something has gone awfully wrong with the ratings. I don’t know if they have updated their algorithm or if IMDB is the victim of ''rating spam'' or whatever, but some of the ratings are completely off the wall. Just have a look at the IMDB Top 250.

All three Lord of the Rings movies are in the top 20? Jesus Christ! I fell asleep in at least two of them.

I agree totally Haiducii. And I'm a big film-fan. Always I'll try to orientate on IMdB. But you are right - in the last time something goes wrong. And these 3.3 judgement is intolerable for this film.

THE REVENANT - honestly, I'm not a fan of Leonardo DiCaprio. But if he will get no Oscar for this film - the OSCAR committee is incapable.

I just started to watch 2012 while doing some posting here. I love watching the part where Santa Monica Pier goes into the ocean. That could be us at pretty much any moment. Really makes you want to make each day as great as it can, since there is no guarantee there will be a tomorrow.
