What's the last or current Movie you Watched ?

Sharknado 4
I enjoyed the first two movies, but not keen on the third. I only made it half way through number four.

MISS YOU ALREADY - hard to watch! (for me, because of the illness of my mom)
But it isn't really a movie about cancer - but more and mostly a movie about friendship and only from this reason you should watch it!!!

Well I enjoyed it but no where near as much as the first one.... this one didn't have the narrative flow of the first and it seemed to me that they had ideas for several scenes then had to devise a plot to link them together. The cast we on top form of course with Bill Nighy and Maggie Smith having the best lines.

Totally silly... totally far fetched plot... totally enjoyable (shame that Taron Egerton never fully got his kit off but you can't have everything)

SIKIL - Unspoken Passion a gay themed movie from the Phillippines (2008) very emotional.

Batman vs Superman

I refused to see it in theaters mostly because I hate the premise. Heroes should fight villains, not the other way around. I blame Frank Miller for the f'd up idea to begin with. Still, I got a chance to catch it tonight on blue ray tonight and the whole thing left me with conflicting emotions. I did not expect to like Ben Affleck as Batman but to my happy surprise he pulled it off beautifully. Even Henry Cavil lived up to his role, although I didn't buy him until the scene where he walks into the Congressional hearing. Everything before that felt small. But here he was regal in stature. Larger than life. -Although I HATE, HATE, HATE they had him 'die' at the end of the movie. What the #@#@%#@##!!!

The production values were off the chart. And I had a personal moment enjoying the use of Mies Van Der Rohe's Farnsworth House in Illinois as the template for Batman's new digs. A moment of pure geek rapture with that pearl of an idea. -Where the story falls apart (ignoring the lame use of Doomsday, the sad plot twist of Alfred popping in with info at just the right moment, and the tendency to drift into destruction porn....) the story falls apart under the weight of the stupidity of even thinking Batman would kill.

The reasoning for their battle was lame. As a result the movie was doomed to fail when it should have succeeded.

I think the whole franchise is doomed. They need to start over again. They'd be much better off doing the movies in the CW (Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and now Supergirl) universe.
