What's the last or current Movie you Watched ?

A WAR - KRIGEN a Danish movie about a commander, who accused for civil murder in Afghanistan, while trying to save his squad.

Very interesting and to be thought-provoking.
 
The Choice - a sad and beautiful love story adapted from a Nicholas Sparks novel.

Well I know, I know much schmaltz .... but tell me why not?
 
What We Did On Our Holidays:

Can't post a trailer here due to the ages of the actors but check out this heart-warming bitter-sweet comedy from the creators of the excellent "Outnumbered". A great cast - including Rosamund Pike; David Tennant & Amelior Bullmore. The best scenes are between the kids and their grand-dad, played by Billy Connolly. It starts off a bit slow but then they get up to Scotland... a little gem.

As ever Slimjim you are totally correct in your assessment of movies. This is really as you have said a "heart-warming bitter-sweet comedy" and a recommendation to every admirer of good movie entertainment. A very, very good dramedy! :thumbs up:

Do NOT watch the second before the third is out, the anticipation will kill you!
 
KAJAKI a British movie from 2014.
Kajaki Dam, Afghanistan 2006. A company of young British soldiers encounter an unexpected, terrifying enemy. A dried-out river bed, and under every step the possibility of an anti-personnel mine. A mine that could cost you your leg - or your life.

If you will have steady nerves please watch this film. If you are British please be very proud of your soldiers over there.

But nonetheless tell me the object. After 108 minutes now I'll be done for the next hours.
