What's the last or current Movie you Watched ?

Sei no Gekiyaku
narrates the story of Makoto Katsuragi, an elite office worker who fell from grace in his perfect life. In a drunken stupor, he attempts suicide via jumping off a building. He is saved by a mysterious man, Ryoji Yoda, who turns out to be more than what he seemed to be. Now, Katsuragi is under Yoda’s ‘confinement training’ and has to live the horrors of a dark, twisted love, which contributes to the film’s R-18 rating. Starring Sho Watanabe Sho and Takashi Kitadai, the film is sure to be a bold one.
 



:thumbs up::thumbs up: Superb! Lots of fun with those good old temporal paradoxes. I enjoyed this more than I did Infinity Wars:):)

Well I loved writer/director Martin McDonagh's other movies - In Bruges and Seven Psychopaths and this one did not disappoint. Really good movie... the main leads Francis McDormand; Sam Rockwell & Woody Harrelson are all superb (Sam getting the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his portrayal of Dixon, a thoroughly nasty racist cop) and Francis won the Oscar for Best Actress as a very very angry mother.

RUNNING WITH THE DEVIL a film from 2019 with Nicholas Cage. When I read at first that's a Cage film, I didn't want to watch it. But than - ok. It wasn't bad and I would say it is on of the better Cage films.
 
Knives Out (2019)

If you like detective movies, this is a must watch! Loved it!!
 
GREYHOUND the new war movie with and from Tom Hanks. It was really a nailbiter and the whole 1,5 hours you are in the command center of an escort cruiser in a convoy. And for me it was stunning!

Also just watched this - lots of fun! You should also watch 8 Femmes (8 Women) - it's a similar idea (family murder suspects, etc., but French and musical and insane)
 
Uncut Gems (2019) 5/10 - IMO an overrated waste of 2 hours of my life that the critics loved but many audiences hated. If you want to hear Adam Sandler screaming nonstop for 2 hours go for it.

:thumbs up::thumbs up: Since a long time I will avoid movies with Adam Sandler! If I hear or see him I will get acid reflux! Sorry, but he is a gadfly!
 
PADDLETON a NETFLIX film. A sad and strange, absurd and hopeful, tragic film.
