'Respect,' the Aretha Franklin biopic starring Jennifer Hudson. It's a solid effort. There are certain films in the genre that seem to set the standard, i.e. 'Ray' and 'What's Love Got to Do With It.' This doesn't quite reach that level yet I still enjoyed it.
