When and how was your "Coming Out"?

Nervous then I realized I wasn't alone and then......... the exploration begun in earnest gay coffee houses support groups and finally... the bars.... the discovery of gay owned operated businesses the Anita bryant foolishness i was what one would call a militant gay back then.

I was living in a group home & I chose to 'come out'. It was the biggest mistake I made as a 15 yr old kid.

I was 17 and I really didn't have to come out. My parents simply asked me if I was gay and I just told the truth and said yes

i didn't actually came out; it just happened naturally...

or i was actually outed when i was really young. in 5th grade, when my homeroom adviser asked for a parent-teacher meeting, she told my parents her observations about me, being effeminate, and that's about it.

i think my parents knew it already since before that meeting. who wouldn't if their son likes to play dolls and with girl neighbors instead of playing rough-it-up with boy neighbors.
