So when I went to bed last night there was nothing... got up this morning and when I looked outside there was about 120mm/6 inch of snow and then I had to walk to the shops in a freezing cold arctic wind ~X(.. weatherman says a lot more to come for at least the next 10 days and temperatures to drop as low as -8 degrees :no::no:


It's the earliest snowfall in UK for 17 years...

I had to walk to the bus this morning... 3.5 km... and it was freezing cold... and then at the bus stop I had to wait another 20 minutes... thank God I'll have the car tomorrow

Here it snowed yesterday, 2 inches max., and now it's going to be either snow or rain till Wednesday... It's 5-8°C when you're lucky, and it tends to get windy... :angry: Yesterday I had to go to the bus station, a 15-minutes walk and damn, my face was freezing off... I mean, not only it was cold, my glasses have a metal frame, so...

It's getting pretty chilly here, too. We had some great 60+ degree weather right up until Thanksgiving, which was great. The nights were a little colder, of course... but now, it's just downright freezing out there. I've heard talk of snow all around me (I live in NYC), but haven't seen any yet.

I feel for you guys! We don't get much snow in South Texas. Last year though we had blizzard conditions for about 5 hours one day in late December that just about shut the city down. Flakes about the size of the old UK penny! Good luck in snowy climates guys!

Hi SlimJim and guys i know how you all feel I hate Winter weather , well down here in Aussie it's spring at the moment but most days it's very strange like we get high 30s one day then we get Winter next then after cooler spring weather again vice versa along with rain and storms , but i heard about this big Winter chill happening in Europe on the news the other day since i am the first Aussiehere u r always welcome to borrow me for cuddling:hug: in bed anytime..LOL...
