Speaking of The City, it was such a beautiful day today, I took my camera with me and snapped a couple pictures of the Empire State from my town...




Ugggh...I have to use Imagehost which never seem to make big pictures like Pimp and Pump which isnt working for me...sorry...

No it's what used to be part of the old London Docklands area, now full of expensive apartments and big businesses.

Not sure which part of London can be regarded as "downtown", we have many suburbs sprawling out from the centre.

I live on the 3rd highest hill in North London. Canary Wharf is in the old East End of London where the Docks and Ports of London use to be. It is mainly all financial there. The West End is where all the big stores and Theatres, Museums are. But to be honest with you I'm a country boy, having been brought up on a farm in Wiltshire and not a great lover of big Cities.

Well, you sure have an amazing view...it reminds me somewhat of San Francisco with the "row houses" in the foreground...really nice stuff.

I have always been in and around Cities my entire life but one of these days I must give the country a go....I've always loved the country much more than the city. The farm might be too much for me though...lol
