Quality Tablets 200 or Less?

So my grandmother is looking to replace her 1st generation IPad but only has like 200. Does anyone know of some quality tablets in that price range.

The Kindle Fire HD is a great buy if you want to read books, watch movies, and run Android apps and games. It's easier to get into than a "vanilla" Android tablet. It's good quality for the price because Amazon essentially sells it at cost, figuring that they'll make profit on the media you purchase.

On the other hand, depending on your grandmother's eyesight, the Kindle 7" screen may not be as convenient as the larger iPad 10" screen.

She could sell the iPad on eBay, combine the money with her available $200 and get a newer iPad.

I was kinda crossing my fingers that she might give the Ipad to me plus how much would she really get for a 1st generation WiFi only Ipad 50 bucks? idk I just don't know about Android Tablets so.

The biggest question is what does she want to do with it?

If she is a big app user and has loads of apps that she loves, then really, you need another iPad. You can get a cheap iPad in two ways:
1) look in the Apple refurb store
2) buy second hand

If all she does is read the web, do email, and skype family and freinds, then I think a Nexus 7 would be a good choice. If books are her big thing, then why not get a tablet from the Book experts, Amazon!

Being honest though - you'll probably have to compromise your definition of "quality" if you only want to spend just 200 quid.
