PC Never got to use Macs

- why the difference? I bet large corporation ordering thousands of PCs because of Microsoft's great business sales arm has a lot to do with it. All those people in those organisations do use PCs, but they had no choice in the matter at all.

I think you're right there. My employer looked at MACs, in a very large quantity - about 4 thousand of them. Apple was totally disinterested in working with our IT planners, so we renewed our entire computer installation with new PC's and from what I hear, Microsoft gave our company a huge discount for that many Windows workstations and tossed in Office 2010 free. Regardless of what anyone thinks of Microsoft, that is a huge loss leader for them, when they could have charged at least $100 for each machine on the Office 2010 software. They sure do have an aggressive marketing dept.

Where did all the Mac users suddenly come from - for most of the time this poll's been running it's been about 50% PC, 30% MAc and 20% Linux - now Mac & PC are are almost equal - and PC is at less than half - strange how these things fluctuate!

I have used all, Windows remains my favorite OS though. I had a zuneHD but crossed over to Window Phone 7 since ATT's droids were less than stellar compared to the verizon ones. I guess I am a solid PC fan.
