1962 is the last year of production for cabriolet Océane (left) and coupé Plein Ciel (right). Why to call Plein Ciel (full heaven) a coupé with fixed roof?

Aronde and Ariane are both together on the stand Simca for the last motorshow at "Grand Palais" in October 1961.

Poissy May 22 1963, the last Aronde arriving at the end of the chain after1.425.329 units produced for 12 years. The last marketed version is Etoile Six from stock. It was yet in the Simca catalog1964 beside Simca 1000/1300/1500.

Presented at Geneva motorshow 1963, Simca 1300/1500 are going to replace the Aronde/Ariane range.

A long time after 1960, people continue to call Aronde Rush "P60" because it associate this name to the last body.

Citroën H vehicle : The useful cube (1947 - 1981)


In 2010, there were yet some Citroën H in activity. And today?


Technically, the H is like a Traction with an inversed mechanical, the engine in front of the axle.


A lengthened version

Return toward the future


The Tubik is a Citroën concept car presented at Frankfurt motor-show in 2011. The name is inspired by TUB Citroën, the H ancestor (Traction Utilitaire serie B). Often the H was called TUB.

Peugeot serie 04 CC (Coupé & Cabriolet)


Presented at Paris Motorshow 1962, located for the first time at Porte de Versailles, coupé 404 is launched one year after the cabriolet seen above. Both have been designed and assembled by Pininfarina.

Easy to confuse the Fiat 1800 on the left with the cabriolet 404. It was the problem with Pininfarina : He sold his drawing to several constructors in the same time!

Now with five-bearing, the engine, carburettor or injection, keep its cylinder and its power. 404 CC, it's only 2% of the 404 production.

504 CC is presented at Geneva motorshow in March 1969. Like the 404 CC, this model is designed and manufactured by Pininfarina.



New safety wheel on the 204 CC (model 69)


Behind this 204 cabriolet, waiting for the 504, there is yet a 404 cabriolet at Paris on the Peugeot stand in 1968.
At the opposite of the 404, 504 CC is available only in injection version.
