You have unusual taste in Sci Fi movies, bryankc! I'm just kidding, I LOVE Sci Fi, both reading & watching, & have ever since I was a kid. Years ago my HS principal asked me what I like to read & I said Sci Fi; he got a VERY disdainful look on his face & said I should be reading the classics.

That was a LONG time ago, when Sci Fi was on the fringe (yeah, I'm that old!). Now it's in the mainstream, & I'm reading the classics! Haha, guess I just like to do what everybody else isn't! But I still read Sci Fi too.

I used to love football, until it became such a huge business & until it became more important than education in American colleges. Plus my partner hates it, even though he played it in HS. So I don't follow it any more, as kind of a personal protest. Unless the PITTSBURGH STEELERS get into the playoffs, then I can't control myself!

For me the superbowl is just another occasion to go drink with friends come back home and fuck the shit out of Alex LOL.

I really really don't give a rat ass about the sport itself... for me football is Futbal, not American Rugby called futbal funny enough they can touch the ball with their foot just at the beginning of the game and between intermittent. I don't see much of foot play in there.

hmmmm. many of these comments represent the way I have felt for many years about football. I never cared about watching it, understanding it or playing it. However......the people that I work with (hospital worker) are crazy about football. So i actually watched the game last night. Although I was a bit confused (wikipedia came in handy) I've got to say, it was pretty enjoyable. This particular game was easy to follow and the players totally professional. Believe it or not it was exciting.
