Nothing really beats the soundtracks to the Fallout series and the Grand Theft Auto series, but none of it is really videogame music since it was all real songs that they just put into the games. The Suikoden series has my favorite music made just for a videogame

Castlevania: Lament of Innocence has such a bewitching sountrack. Atmospheric, hauntingly dark and dramatic. My favourite by a long shot.
