Living With Friends......

My friend and I are thinking of possibly moving in together lol. She and I are really good friends and seriously wouldn't get fed up with each other since our schedules are SOOOOO different lol. We are very close and I think of her as a sister so hahaha if she is having trouble dating she could always give the excuse "um my roommate is home by himself I need to go bye!" its true lol.

Sounds good! Just be careful though, you can be the greatest friends, but living together can cause tensions that you don't have at the moment, and can damage a friendship, so as long as you can both compromise a little it should be great!

I shared with a friend years ago, he was a straight guy, but his schedule was very different and he worked away a lot so worked out great. he was also useful as my guinea pig for my cooking new dishes lol

I hated having to share expensive off campus apartments when I studied. Much to my surprise female room mates turned out to be worse slobs than any of the male roommates. But if you know your friend well - it could work out. I have had some really nice room mates - but some were plain weird and noisy, which is annoying when you ahve to read and study hard.

I've joined existing flatshares and have become friends with my new flat mates....I have shared with friends who I no longer speak to because of the tensions that Xman metioned.

And it's not always the big issues that cause the problems ..it can be the little annoying traits that you never noticed about them before that can develope and drive you crazy, and eventually apart.

So true Jim !! We had an almighty bust up one year about something fairly trivial, he NEVER took the rubbish out. I came back after a Christmas break and found he'd taken out the trash lol

The one & only time he ever did it, mind !

hmmmm...you think of her like your sister, huh? To be honest, living with any of my 3 sisters would be a disaster. Not that I don't love them, mind you, but only because sometimes being too close and too familiar with those you live with (short of being lovers) can be very trying. There's nothing like living with someone and finding out about all of their idiosyncrysies after the fact. But being you're on such different schedules may help. Another thought: as exciting as it seems to be out on your own be sure to weigh all the associated costs, the extra work it takes to maintain it and having to deal with the responsibility of retaining it, all the while having your studies to think of. Sometimes its true...home is where the heart is...and the washer and dryer, a fridge full of food, all the utilities and more money in your wallet. Always something to consider...good luck handsome...lol

lol she and I both agreed if we ever fought that we'd cool off when she is off at work and then talk about it when she comes home. Though I have never had any problems with her before haha.

I couldn't stand living with women when I was getting lots of sex from them, can't image...trying to live with women without getting sex....
I can't...just can't live with women they are too fricking different and difficult...lol And I really hate that thing of the minute you walk in the door..they wanna frickin talk about their day....lord help me...X_X
