Pope Francis: Who am I to judge gay people?

The catholic church realizes finally its waning relevance and is grasping at straws to regain followers. In my opinion, until it becomes a faith that accepts EVERYONE, including the lgbt community (sex and all) and women, as equals, it is still a stuffy old institution that relies more on dogma than common sense and compassion.

There was a post from somewhere(?) yesterday about the Pope.

He has become the superstar pope. But one of his main goals is to become the bishop of Rome, and less the Emperor of the RCC.

It's an interesting tension between the two.
