I am having the same problems--cannot connect, they don't answer e-mail, the log-in page does not load. I just took the suggestion of googline "is Rapidgator down" and saw that California Roadrunner is blocking it (I am on NYC Roadrunner) but it's accessible on cell phones. I went to me cell (AT&T) and typed in rapidgator.net and got there. Roadrunner is definitely blocking it.

Why dont people just use mediafire lol. All the new sites that pop up are way worse then megaupload.

There are some useful sites out there to help with answers to whether it's regional or global. Go to Google and type: "is xxxxx down" where xxxxx is rapidgator or whatever. You'll be presented with a number of sites which will ping the server and give a detailed answer. Test with Oron or Mojofile for example.

Comcast most likely blocking...

Well it looks pretty much that Comcast is blocking Rapidgator

Tried numerous web proxy's but none worked to at least logon. The proxy that did work and allowed the logon script to work was:

Then I was able to cancel my recurring subscription in the "other" section of your profile. As well as send a support ticket although if the culprit in this mess is Comcrap then there is not much that Rapidgator can do...and probably complaining to Comcrap won't amount to a hill of beans!

As far as d/l-ing anything at least by the free version that is pointless because of the file sizes...Of course they have a $$ KProxy Pro that allegedly
has Unlimited downloads...

But!...As you know, a web proxy is banned like any other site sooner or later, so you have to look for new proxies...

Sorry, I am not very savvy about these things; so this means that I cannot use Rapidgator any more because I pay Comcast, who blocks it? Are they allowed to do that? Does this mean that my three more weeks of Rapidgator are useless?

For 2 days I was not able to connect to Rapidgator either (also have Comcast) but I was talking to another member this morning who has Time Warner and he was not able to connect for 2 days either.

As of 30 minutes ago, I am now able to connect to maybe it was a regional problem. (I hope!)

Hi,
I just want to report that at 9:30 (EDT) east coast US. I connected again after two days and its working just fine!! Whoopee!!

I guess that comcast wasn't to blame. Just hate it when I read all the rumors and suppositions that seem to crop up with any downtime for a service (in my case, paid)

Yay! Mine's working, too. I am glad that it wasn't Comcast. Although I did think that the Mormons had started setting their plan in motion to rid the Internet of porn...(And if they did, my dad, a long-time member of The Church, would have to find another way to get his naughty videos. Updating...I can now via browser in addition to ftp client connect back to Rapidgator...
Whew! just glad it was not comcrap although the coincidence to the Mormon "allegedly" winning the 1rst debate struck me as Ohhhh! NOooooooooooooo

Rapidgator is really bad to download . We should try bayfiles or uptobox .
Maybe you could put the links on mirrors like mirorri or Jheberg for exemple .

Rapidgator screwing up again this a.m. in Calif. On JDownloader file aborts when almost finished. Plain d/l "failed, cannot read file", or "failed, no permission to write to hard disc." A mediafire file downloaded fine. Arrrghh.

Now, 5 hours later, working fine . . . at the moment.

I'm a registered free-user of RG and had no download problems over the last few months at all; I guess it's "again" some kind of temporary glitch maybe depending on your country; have you tried to dl over a proxy !?

Maybe I'm very pessimistic today after reading the article on torrentfre@k about the "war" of the Australian born business man Robert King against filehosts all over the world incl. his war against payment processing sites like PayPal and others:

I wonder how the "filehost-landscape" will develop in the future; there are so many lousy filehosts out there; I guess at the moment we still should be happy as long as these lousy hosts still are existing with all their temporary glitches before a so called "AdultKing" together with similar cyberlocker-fighters will have succeeded; then we would have no "temporary glitches" anymore as well as no filehosts X_X
