I remember him well. He caused quite the stir with Gay folk back in the late 60's and early seventies. His first movies were in 67. He was in a lot of Tv shows like Gunsmoke, Lassie, Dragnet,
and Bonanza.

In the 70s Jan-Michael Vincent was sex-on-a-stick and didn't mind playing to his numerous gay fans, as evidence by his several appearances in After Dark magazine. He was as talented as he was beautiful - a rare combination - kind of a 70s/80s Montgomery Clift.

But after Airwolf things didn't come so easily anymore and he seemed to have no way to deal with the inevitable dry spells.

His career and personal life seemed to go downhill. The acting was in low budget projects and the headlines were about drinking, drugs, rehab, restraining orders, and beating wives and girlfriends. He had permanent damage to his neck and vocal chords from multiple car crashes. At some point late in life his right leg was amputated, and he used a prosthetic or a wheel chair. Oddly, he died on February 10, but it wasn't reported until today (March 8).

Streisand and Ross are still alive, but the third greatest female voice of the baby boomer generation was stilled in August 2018. Rest in peace, dear Queen of Soul.

A non-single from her glorious second Atlantic album in August 1967. It is at once, a love song, a lullaby and a tear-jerker.

Just let me love you now, forget about tomorrow
My darling, won't you hold me tight
And never let me go

Dry your eyes no tears, no sorrow
Cling to me with all your might
And never let me go

A million times or more you said we'd never part
But lately I find
You're a stranger, a stranger in my heart

Give me the right in summer or in springtime
To tell the world that you're every bit o’ mine
And that you'll never, oh never let me go
No, you'll never let me go

Ha ha ha, remember James Fuller "Jim" Fixx (April 23, 1932 – July 20, 1984) was an American who wrote the 1977 best-selling book The Complete Book of Running. He is credited with helping start America's fitness revolution, popularizing the sport of running and demonstrating the health benefits of regular jogging. He died of a heart attack while jogging at 52 years of age. His genetic predisposition for heart problems and other previous lifestyle factors may have caused his heart attack.

Are we sure he did not die from too much running?

This is a question I really ask myself so very often - and nevertheless I like it to go for some hours to the gym. Is it idiotic to do that - only because I want to have a six-pack?????????? - There is an old saying in Germany : SPORT IST MORD - Sport Is Murder! Is it?????~X:)thinking:~X:)?

Dying young might not be the only risk of working out too much, you simply cannot ignore what ultimately happened to Bruce Jenner.

Dick DALE - American musician (1937)

Richard Anthony Monsour, known professionally as Dick Dale, was an American rock guitarist, known as The King of the Surf Guitar. He was a pioneer of surf music, drawing on Middle-Eastern music scales and experimenting with reverberation. If you are thinking "never heard of him, never heard his music" well if you are a film fan you just might have heard him …….
