EINE UNERHÖRTE FRAU - A tremendous woman a German movie from 2016. Very stirring. The great fight of a mother for her ill young daughter, because no doctors will really look at the girl. And the terrible thing is, this is not only a film - but the story happened in real. Ignorant, haughty and smart-alecky doctors - but a brave mother which was ready to fight! - A very moving film.

A dark disturbing psychological thriller but thoroughly engrossing. Jake Gyllenhaal is on top form and makes you care about his character (Lou Bloom), even though Bloom is depraved and unpleasant and you start asking yourself just how low will he go. Gyllenhaal is ably supported by Rene Russo and Bill Paxton who are both excellent, as is the cinematography

THE CANDIDATE - Kandidaten a Danish film from 2008 - a thriller at its finest. Very, very thrilling and with a "wow" twist at the end. A must see.
I like Danish and Swedish and also Belgian crime stories. They all have real suspense! The film-makers there are knowing how to make good stories.

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Very funny black comedy/thriller film written and directed by the genius John Waters, starring Kathleen Turner as the title character - a sweet kind, yet foulmouthed serial killer!! Sam Waterston; Ricki Lake; Matthew Lillard play her family with cameo appearances from Patty Hearst, Suzanne Somers, Joan Rivers, Traci Lords and Brigid Berlin.

My boyfriend dragged me to see "John Wick 2". He is Oriental and like many from his country, is obsessed with what he called "action movies".

It a very violent movie, with a loot of blood and death, and not much of a story. Basically, a retired hitman is forced to take on another job The job was to kill the sister of that mafioso. He refused, so the Mafioso blew up his house, you know, as you do. This made him agree after all, but he did not have to kill his "target" after all, the Mafioso's sister, as she committed suicide. So, as revenge, he sets of to kill the Mafioso instead. He succeeds in the end, but in a "forbidden" place for contract killings. The movie ends with him being on the run.

At the beginning there is also scene unrelated to the plot of John Wick retrieving a car that has been stolen from him with loads of violence. He gets it back but he wrecked it in the process.

Most of the movie are long shooting and fighting scenes, reminiscent of some games you can buy, like "manhunt" or similar.

Made me jump a lot, and I found it freaky, but my boyfriend loved it.

I had considered seeing Great Wall but heard it was so bad that I skipped it. I am not going to see Logan, as I don't need a sad xmen movie. Like Xmen, but not a down movie.
