FENCES a very, very haunting movie. More like a stage play. And Denzel Washington in his first (if my memory is correct?!) something unlikeable role. It is not a MUST SEE, but if you get oneself into it, the film will mesmerize you. In this case I want to say, that I'm happy my Dad was a better Dad and so my childhood was a better one and until today I'll adore my Dad. Watch the film and you will understand why I have written this here.

THE BIRTH OF A NATON the true story of Nat Turner and his slave revolt in 1831. A very powerful Bio-Pic.

BURNING SANDS a really shocking film about a students fraternity and their bad dealings with a group of contenders. The film is from 2017. Not a very nice afternoon entertainment. Is that really "THE" USA where such excesses will be possible to happen?

Suffragette (2015)

In this day and age many of us take a lot for granted. Often forgotten are those in history who fought so hard and valiantly in order for future generations to have better rights, and better lives because of those rights.

We owe a lot to these suffragettes. Many of them were beaten, disgraced, fired from their jobs for protesting for a cause that men took for granted.

My favorite character is definitely Maud Watts. Carey Mulligan deserves an Oscar for her portrayal of Maud Watts' transition.

All in all, a great movie that touches your heart, directed by Sarah Gavron in tribute to these brave women.

DEEPWATER HORIZON with a great Mark Wahlberg (I like him so much!!!!). This movie will get under your skin. It's horrible what they will do only to increase their profits!!!
