DIE MITTE DER WELT - Center of my world a really, really very good German movie from 2016.
On IMdB you can read: "After a summer spent with his his best friend Kat to escape his family, Phil goes back to school and starts to question his feelings towards Nicholas, a new classmate."

German gay-themed movies are very, very rare. So I have been at first a little bit wary - but both of us we loved this film and both of the leads: Louis Hofmann and Jannik Schümann. They are so sweet and cute.

I must admit to being disappointed as I'm a big fan of the Coen Bros but this satire/homage to Hollywoods musicals & those Busby Berkley water extravaganzas is not up there with the best of their output despite the usual stable of talent. There is one really funny scene with Ralph Fiennes and cutie Alden Ehrenreich...but it's not enough
