After it appeared in our thread of GAY THEMED MOVIES, I remembered that this film was since a very long time in my collection but unwatched: BENT
Well so we deceided to have a watch now.
And yea it wasn't bad - but good??? No not in my opinion. It was a really cruel story from a deadly Concentration Camp during the Nazi-time. But for me it was more a stage play than a movie. The dialogues for me have been ligneous. Sorry but this film hasn't emotionally respond to me/us.

Well you are spot on with that assessment as the movie is based on the 1979 play of the same name by Martin Sherman, who also wrote the screenplay for the movie.
