The look and feel of 90's B-grade horror, but I think hat's intentional. This is a low budget passion project, most of the "actors" are really production crew members (camera, lighting, sound techs, make-up artist, etc.) on popular TV shows and movies.

"Bad Times at the El Royale". Less than it's hyped up to be, but at the same time okay. Hard to explain how a movie "feels" sometimes, but this one has a really good, raunchy, scary and half-past 2 a.m. vibe that suits the story well. Not great, but kind of really good.

FIRST THEY KILLED MY FATHER a film by Angelina Jolie from 2017. This film upsets your stomach! There is no more need to watch a horror movie - reality is much more cruel and horror than any horror movie.

First half of this movie is an outrageously funny true to life story of working in a shithole telesales job. Second half becomes darker as the Elon Musk/Jeff Bezos type billionaire character plans to makes his employees into man/horse mutants so that they will work harder for less money. That part is not true to life yet, but give it time.
