James is pretty sure he is a psychopath. Alyssa is the cool and moody new girl at school. The pair make a connection and she persuades him to embark on a road trip in search of her real father.
I've just watched the whole series in one go. This most certainly is among the Best of British TV. :thumbs up: Excellent writing and acting. A wonderful mix of humour, darkness and pathos. FANTASTIC!

I have only watched the 1st episode so far and not sure how the rest will go but C4 here in UK have already uploaded the next 2 episodes (of 6) so I will give them a watch tonight.
Joseph Heller's bestseller novel set during WWII has always been a favourite. A wonderfully hilarious and tragic satire of military madness, and one man's efforts to survive it. I just hope Clooney manages to capture the essence of the novel.
