Your favourite 80's song

There was so much good music in the 80's. 82 was my first year in college and MTV was new. So many great songs have already been mentioned and many were favorites of mine too. There is one that hasn't been mentioned and I always remember it as one of my very favorite 80's songs. In this case its New Wave and the song is "Love My Way" by the Psychedelic Furs. They were a good band and had some other good songs as well, like Pretty in Pink.

There are a lot... And I mean a lot!!!! Born in the mid-eighties, I was never really conscious about POP culture until, the mid- to late nineties (yeah, I know, the bad part of the decade). BLECH!

But for some odd reason, I somehow know more trivial and often obscure information about the decade of my birth rather than the era of my greater adolescence. Which would include music of course -- from Madonna, to the many bands of the British invasion. And although it might not be my most favorite (I don't think I will ever have just one 80's song hold that title), I have to pick one that was the soundtrack of a movie that I pretty much identified with, The Breakfast Club
