Long hair on men

OK. So I'm curious what y'all think.

I am personally a fan of long-haired men. I am thinking about growing mine longer, BUT ... I'm 36, starting to go a tiny bit grey at the temples and have a very high hairline.

Do you think I can pull it off? Should I?

Just looking for opinions.

Yeah, pretty thick hair, looks very sexy if they are to the shoulders

But it allways stands and falls with quality of hair. If someone has greasy or dry hair it's better when he wears short hair cut style. Too long hair - to the shoulder-blades or longer doesn't turn me on as well.

I had long hair for a long time. I like the look. I also liked that it signaled me in work as a biomed tech guy rather than a business guy.
Don't worry about the grey. It looks great. And if the grey is dull, you can brighten it up with a rinse.
The hairline. It depends. When my hairline got too high, it was time to cut it off and go short and neat.
But it really depends on your specific look.

And remember...it's not like a tattoo. If it doesn't work, just get a haircut.

I agree. Hair is fortunately something you can experiment different styles with, and if you don't like it, then changing is an easy thing.
As for whether or not you could pull it off, it's hard to say. I personally think longer hair can look great, but only a few can actually pull it off. It all depends on your look, hairstyle and the way you carry yourself.

Long hair suits some people, and not others.

I've had mine long for about a decade now, before that I had it very short. I'm starting to go a little thin on top, so I'll probably shave it all off soon enough.

I think it depends how long and how it's worn, if that makes sense. Some people it suits others should avoid it. Anything can look right on someone!

Next time you visit the barber ask for some advice. Your barber or stylist will give a good opinion and you could also ask family and friends. Bear in mind that if you go for it there will be some work in it, as long hair is harder to manage than short hair. So you want to know it will be worth it in the long run, and the more opinions and advice the better.

I usually have my hair short but not too short, with a little length sometimes. In other guys I prefer short or even very short styles. But it's all good at the end of the day so go with what feels best for you too.

Long hair looks good on some but I think the older you get it just makes you look older. At least you can always shave it off if it doesn't turn out.

Especially when the guy lets it grow real long and wraps it around his head
to cover the fact he's bald. God, that looks ridiculous.

Depends on the individual. On some guys, it looks ridiculous. On others, it's incredibly flattering and hot.

It also depends on how you groom yourself, too. Some guys with nasty long hair look like they need to be flea-dipped!

But short, clean cuts work for almost everyone. Looks more...I dunno...hygienic?
