We've just learned Michael Jackson has died. He was 50.

Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his Holmby Hills home and paramedics were unable to revive him. We're told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.

A source tells us Jackson was dead when paramedics arrived. A cardiologist at UCLA tells TMZ Jackson died of cardiac arrest.

Once at the hospital, the staff tried to resuscitate him but he was completely unresponsive.

We're told one of the staff members at Jackson's home called 911.

La Toya ran in the hospital sobbing after Jackson was pronounced dead.

Michael is survived by three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince "Blanket" Michael Jackson II.

I liked his songs and his Jackson 5 stuff, but i never cared for him very much as a person.

I won't be a hypocrite and say I'll miss him because I won't.

I do feel for those who cared for him, as with anyone who passes to the great beyond.

I have to agree with you Thor...thats exactly how I viewed him. It really is a shame but of all the fame, the hits, the videos, the awards, the absurdities, I remember him most as that cute 10 yr old boy singing "I want you back" with his brothers.

Come on. Be realistic, Elvis died in the 70's , Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valence & The Big Bopper died on the 50's!

Call me insensitive but be sensible. I can't get emotional over somebody I never knew, he wouldn't know me if we'd shook hands, and we probably wouldn't like each other anyway!!

It's like when Princess Diana died.

We didn't know her, she didn't know you or me.

I'm very sorry if some people are offended, but I care far more for the people I know & see every day.

I have never looked up to an idol - he was a pop singer. Why was he more special than any other person?

I know people in real life far more deserving!

Like it or not it's my opinion! I detest idol worship.

Oh my, first Farah Fawcett and now Michael Jackson.

When I saw it on tv yesterday I first thought it's a terrible joke or misunderstanding. Sad that it wasn't.

The first music cassette I've ever got was THRILLER which I got from a friend of mine and I listened to it over and over again when I was a kid.

I've never ever understood his personality but I think we lost a great musician and artist.
