The song is "Wana Baraka," a Swahili song from Kenya.

I think this is a perfect flash mob. The singers appear from nowhere apparently; sing their song and blend back into the crowd.

Really beautiful! I love how confused people looked, as well as happy. :)

Unfortunately I've never personally seen a flash mob, but this one is one of my favourite. The music speaks for itself. :)

 
Bravo, MaximumT, and thank you for posting this video. I thought it was too short because I was enjoying it so much. Like you, I hope to actually see a flash mob in person someday.:big hug:

The crowd reaction shots are priceless. I especially enjoyed the older woman at 2:35 with a look of pure enjoyment on her face and the little tomboy in red who climbed a light pole for a better look. :thumbs up:

This was staged by one of the earliest and best flash mob groups, Improve Everywhere - We Cause Scenes. They are probably best know for the No Pants Subway Rides they stage every year in over 60 cities in 25 countries.
 
I have helped arrange one for a school. It was alot of fun and watching the chocked look on the kids faces when there teachers started to dance was amazing. :)
