I was mostly happy with who got through Semi 1.
I like the song from Serbia but live didn't sound good (or look good, staging wise) to me - I'd have liked Malta or Latvia instead (not that Malta had great staging either, I just enjoy the song).

So disappointed from Greece. Such a bad singer and act. He jumps and can’t sing.



What the hell did Austria do? Horrible staging!!!



Comparing this to semi 1, Thursday was so boring to watch…

Austria staging was not what I hoped for - I wanted to see fun dancing office workers on stage, with more dancers on screen as a backdrop.

I'd swap around Poland for Iceland to qualify. Still, nine out of ten of my 'wants' got through.

I'm surprised UK have such a weak singer after Sam Ryder. Her song seems to be popular though. Maybe with the home crowd behind her (and extra backing vocals) she'll do alright?

How fab is Hannah Waddingham?!!

I'm surprised Radio 1 actively supporting Mae. A-List worthy artist? I don't think so.

How come Alesha Dixon still look the same as 20 years ago!?

FUN FACT: All countries that sang in their native language went through to the Grand Final.

I think this is a sign that Europe will favour a song in the native language and not an english popsong on Saturday.

Eurovision 2024: After a thirty year absence, Luxembourg will return to the song contest next year!
