Arrival, it was sad, but good, but not a movie to rewatch

MANCHESTER-BY-THE-SEA a very quiet, very melancholic film. You shouldn't watch this film if you are in a depressive mood. The film is not bad and Casey Affleck is marvellous - but nonetheless I think, if you missed this movie, you haven't lost anything.

AKRON you'll find this movie in the Gaythemed-Movie-Section here on GH. For me since a very long time again a gay themed movie which was marvellous. On IMdB only 4,6 points ... really it's a shame!

Amazing performance by Affleck! AND there is one other thing to like about the movie: non- Hollywood ending. I'm thinking of seeing it in the cinema next week.

And yes - there was no Hollywood ending, totally true. I think there was absolutely NO ending. The film simply concluded. Perhaps there is sometimes a "Hollywood-Ending" really better.

And yes it was nonetheless really, really a very amazing performance by C. Affleck.
