It was beautiful... Beautiful performance, love the score, romantic with a bit of fetish, great costumes and effect but not too much. If you love Beauty and the Beast without musicals, then this is for you.

And again we watched an old movie from 1960 and from Czechoslovakia.
The title is VYSSI PRINCIP - Higher Principle. It's the story from an academic high school class in a small Chechoslavkian city shortly after the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich. A very, very moving film. And for us the very most surprising discovery: the film could have made as well in West-Germany. There was no - really NO communist propaganda in this whole film. Even some high SS- and Gestapo-Officers have had human moments. A film from the evil, the good ones and the hope for a better time. A film full of grief but no hate! A film which will reverberate a very long time in yourself.
So this film really is very highly recommended.

120 BATTEMENTS PAR MINUTE a French movie from 2017. One of the very best films I've ever watched. An arousing, shell-shocked movie which will get under your skin. And believe me: many tears!!!
