Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
OK, so I know I've seen this movie at least a dozen times for how often it's on TV, but something just struck me about it. So the whole premise of the movie is that the Goblet of Fire was turned into a portkey to take Harry to the cemetery once he won the tournament. What was the whole point of that? If L.V. is such a powerful wizard, why not just turn something that he touches every day into the portkey? All of a sudden I don't get why they waited for the Goblet of Fire.
