I cannot believe Army of Lovers did not make it to the finals of the swedish preselection... Ok, the song was nothing special. What do you think?

AOL were my idol band back in the 90s...but when I heard ''Rockin' the ride''...Ehm, no words... They were unfortunately just crap.:rolling eyes:

New Army of Lovers album in the works

Their song was the only weakness. There will be a new album comming out, as far as I know?!

This weekend (March 02/03) is a treat for all Eurovision Song Contest fans - Armenia, Estonia, Hungary, Serbia and Bulgaria will all pick their entries! :thumbs up:

Õigemeel will represent Estonia in the ESC 2013

Estonia has decided that Birgit Õigemeel with the song Et uus saaks alguse will represent the Baltic state in Malmö in May.

Birgit Õigemeel (born 24 September 1988 in Kohila, Estonia) is an Estonian singer. She is the first winner of Estonian Idol Eesti otsib superstaari. In 2007, at the Italian culture festival "L'Olivo d'Oro" (Golden Olive) Birgit was the first non-Italian to receive the "golden olive branch" award.

It's ByeAlex for Hungary!

After an exciting marathon of preselection heats, A Dal 2013, the Hungarian national selection, has come to an end last night. Out of eight entries, a combination of televoting and an expert jury panel has decided that ByeAlex will fly the Hungarian flag in Malmö.

In an exciting show, the Hungarian TV viewers have, together with an expert jury, picked the Hungarian entry for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest: It's ByeAlex with the song Kedvesem!

Gor Sujyan will represent Armenia!

In an entertaining TV show, Gor Sujyan, who had previously been internally selected to represent his home country, sang four songs, out of which a 50/50 combination of jury votes and televoting picked the winning entry. It's a very nice ballad Lonely Planet!

Lonely Planet will be the title of the Armenian entry in the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest. It will be sung by Gor Sujyan and his band Dorians. It's a very nice but sad story about the planet and someone who can save it.

Moje 3 win Beosong and ticket to Malmö!

Moje 3 will represent Serbia in Malmö this coming May with the song Ljubav je svuda (Love is everywhere), a powerful pop-ballad, having just won Beosong 2013.

The group consists of the three girls Mirna, Nevena and Sara, who won the Serbian television audience’s vote last night. The Serbian voters decided to stick to old Eurovision traditions and selected a song that has that typical Eurovision feeling that we secretly all still love. well, I do at least.

Bonnie Tyler to represent United Kingdom

The United Kingdom is one of the last countries to announce their entry for this year's edition of Europe's Favourite TV Show, and it has led to a frenzy of speculation in recent weeks as to who would be performing the entry in Malmö. Now it can be officially confirmed that it is Bonnie Tyler who will be singing the song Believe In Me composed by Desmond Child.

It is a good song and hopefully it will do better than last year! :thumbs up:

Cezar will represent Romania at the 2013 ESC

Last night in a magnificant show of music and talent, it was decided that Cezar will represent Romania at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in May with the song It's My Life.

But his victory wasn’t clear cut. The jury of music professionals ranked Electric Fence’s “Emilia” first, but fan support helped push Cezar, who is known as “The Voice” in Romania, to the top overall. In recent weeks Mandinga—Romania’s 2012 Eurovision contestants—have been publicly supporting him, as have his famous friends including Angela Gheorghiu, Andrea Bocelli and Vangelis.

Robin Stjernberg will sing for Sweden

After a very exciting voting, in what's been considered one of the most unpredictable Swedish finals in years, Robin Stjernberg managed to win Melodifestivalen 2013 with the song You and thus will represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö in May.

2549 songs were submitted to Melodifestivalen this year. These were then whittled down to 32, and these have been competing in four heats and a second chance round before last night’s final.

Moran Mazor to Represent Israel at Eurovision

Moran Mazor will represent Israel in Malmö, after winning KDAM 2013 on Thursday evening (March 7).Mazor, who won 104 points based on votes by viewers and judges, will sing the song “Rak Bishvilo” (Just For Him).

Only for Him is a soft piano ballad with a soaring conclusion. Watch the Israeli song below:
